This session will review IBM’s Winter and Spring announcements for the POWER servers and IBM i Operating System. What are the POWER7 servers, what can they run, how do you manage them, and what’s in IBM i 7.1. Session will cover enhancements IBM has made in the last few months and what those announcements mean for the platform. There are new servers, new SAN attachment options, exciting new DB2 features, major enhancements to RPG, as well as new system management functions.
